Autodata Link

The Autodata Link is a product designed, manufactured and distributed by Photo-Tron Corporation. The Autodata Link was developed in response to our automotive customers' requests for a simple and robust device that would allow various test and automotive analyzers to monitor and log data that is available from a vehicles on-board computer. Prior solutions required special hardware interface modules, a laptop computer and special software requiring significant set-up and training. The other solutions were bulky, cumbersome and sensitive. Frequent lock ups require test to be repeated and cause project delays.

Our Autodata Link OBD2 interface is a compact, robust, plug and play solution. The Autodata Link continuously communicates with the vehicle computer via the OBD2 protocol to track various parameters such as engine temperature, RPM, vehicle speed, throttle position, intake air temperature and more. The Autodata Link then converts the parameters to an analog voltage and variable frequency that is made available on a pluggable terminal block. Up to 4 different parameters can be simultaneously tracked and connected to various types of monitoring equipment.
